AutoRPM is a built-in interface from the NetBase central directory to remote process management (RPM), which is supported by Hewlett-Packard. It is the only component of the high-availability solutions that requires NS 3000 to be on the system. AutoRPM allows you to automatically forward programs to run only on a given system on the network where software licenses exist. You can assign a program to run on the optimal system in the network and access data on another system. This can significantly reduce software licensing costs and improve system performance by spreading CPU usage among several systems.
